Japanese costume

as half term project , I choice  Japanese costume for independent primary and secondary research . I star from my local library (Swiss Cortege library ) , I fount a book called “ Japanese costume reference “ very impressive book, it opend a new World  gate’s to my eyes . amazing Kimonos, unique  forms and texture and brilliant colures but  I loved  the form of Japanese warriors armour , a great combination of  steel and magnificent silk texture , but warriors armour wasn’t for only protection the detail tells its some thing bigger ,warriors personals  their armour as prof  of them social level  , how ever I searched in our College library ,I fount a book  called  “The Great Japan Exhibition . this book helped my to learn  more about Japanese culture and art specially Japanese painting .

I also gave a visit to V&A museum . I felt so lucky because it was on going exhibition about  Japanese costume and art . as a young fashion student I believe Japanese culture has a lot to offer to fashion industry . I have visited tree times since but still there some thing new every time to impress me . I learned new patterns and styles and combining different materials  and most important , improve discipline in my work .
